Matt Lyon

Matt Lyon is a versatile film and television editor with over twenty years of experience. A DGC Award winner and two-time CCE Award nominee, Matt’s work has premiered at major film festivals around the world and played on platforms including Netflix, HBO, Amazon Prime, Paramount Plus, BBC, and Disney.

His recent film projects include Code 8: Part II, directed by Jeff Chan, which debuted as the number one worldwide feature film on Netflix, and has amassed over 46 million views to date; The Silent Hour (dir. Brad Anderson) launched on Paramount Plus and stars Joel Kinnaman and Mark Strong; and The Hobby (dir. Simon Ennis) premiered at SXSW 2024 and continues its festival run around the world. Recent television credits include Home Sweet Rome (HBO Max), Workin’ Moms (Netflix/CBC) and Corner Gas Animated (CTV).
